Our latest guests didn’t plan a winter stay. But Mt Rigi had other ideas!!

Some things you don’t know you need until you’re already in them.

Booking the sauna at can feel like an indulgence. An afterthought. Something to skip.

Then comes the evening after a long day hiking on Mt Rigi when the legs are heavy, nobody saying much. The kind of tired that sits in your bones.

And then the sauna. The warmth. The stillness.
Nobody moves for an hour. Nobody wants to.
