Grand Hotel Locarno: Behind the Model Room - Final Episode
With the latest episode dedicated to the model room, Artisa Group presents a key milestone in the redevelopment of the Grand Hotel Locarno: the unveiling of the show room certified by The Luxury Collection standards through Marriott International.

Delivered within an active construction site, this achievement marks a symbolic return to luxury hospitality after 21 years of closure. The certification confirms full compliance with strict international 5-star requirements and sets the benchmark for the 110 rooms that will define the hotel’s future identity.

Every detail reflects a precise design vision, from the careful selection of materials to the refined architectural language, all conceived to shape an elevated and consistent guest experience.

This achievement reflects the close collaboration between Artisa Group, Arabella Hospitality SE as future operator, and ART Family Office as owner, combining development expertise, global hospitality know-how, operational vision, and long-term investment commitment.

The reopening in May 2027 will mark the return of an iconic hotel, reaffirming its role within the luxury hospitality landscape in Switzerland and internationally.

Emerging within one of Ticino’s most significant urban transformation areas, Nova Cornaredo is a landmark residential development by Artisa Group in Canobbio, within the Lugano district. As part of the NQC Masterplan (Nuovo Quartiere Cornaredo), it contributes to the area’s evolution into a modern mixed-use destination.

The project benefits from strong long-term value, including prime connectivity via the Vedeggio-Cassarate Tunnel and direct access to the Lugano Nord motorway, as well as proximity to Lugano’s economic centre. Key anchors such as the Stadio di Cornaredo and the Corner Arena further enhance its appeal, supporting sustained tenant demand.

The fully approved scheme comprises a 14-storey tower and three residential buildings, delivering a high-quality, ESG-aligned living product tailored to evolving residential needs. The investment reflects Artisa’s strategy of targeting high-conviction locations and delivering institutional-grade assets with durable income potential and long-term capital appreciation.

Conceived by Artisa Group, Piazza Muraccio transforms a long-disused industrial site in a central and highly strategic location, just steps from Piazza Grande, the city’s primary hub of activity, events, and year-round footfall.

The development will introduce a balanced mix of gardens, courtyards, public spaces, and ground-floor commercial areas, connected by a new pedestrian passage that strengthens the link between key urban nodes. Positioned at the intersection of Locarno’s historic fabric and its more recent expansions, Piazza Muraccio plays a key role in shaping a more accessible city center.

Together with the redevelopment of the Grand Hotel Locarno and Le Corti di Locarno, it forms part of a broader vision for the city. These projects reflect Artisa Group’s long-term commitment to Locarno’s growth, reinforcing its attractiveness for residents, businesses, and institutional investors.

Progress continues at the Reithalle site in Wädenswil, with concrete work advancing on schedule and expected to be completed by mid-May. The next steps include waterproofing the main roof and installing the windows, marking key milestones as the structure develops week by week.

The project aims to transform a former carpentry into a modern residential complex featuring 54 rental apartments and four flexible commercial spaces across four floors. Situated near the Geissbach waterfalls and overlooking Lake Zurich, it combines urban convenience with a natural setting.

Neighborhood development remains our primary focus, reflecting our commitment to creating spaces that align with our principles and serve the surrounding community.

Our residential project in Pratteln continues to make strong progress. The development will deliver 69 apartments built around sustainable living and contemporary architecture, helping to shape and enrich the local urban fabric in a strategic and well-connected part of the city.

With a total surface area of 5.600 m², several key stages have recently been achieved: the window installation has been completed and the connection to the district heating system is now finalized. At the same time, construction works are advancing on the balconies, alongside the waterproofing activities on the roofs.

The development remains on track for delivery by the end of 2026. A huge thank you to the entire team for their efficiency and collaboration.
