This is jack fruit introduced during the German colonial era in Cameroon and it's mostly found healthy at the rich volcanic soils of the mount fvako and around all the villages located at the center part of the mountain.
This is so because the Germans lived here and invested more in livestock farming and the jack fruit popularly known by the local population as "Mbelle" has become not just food to livestock but also food to the local population.
This fruit is found even in supper markets allover the world.
