Doña Dominga, the owner of this small soda "San Miguel Surf Café" in Playa San Miguel, spent 38 years as a pastor. After a difficult moment in her life, she decided to retire… but quickly realized that slowing down just wasn’t for her.

So she made her dream come true: creating her own cozy spot near the ocean.

Just a few months ago, she opened her little restaurant, and we’re so happy to have one more small business bringing life to our peaceful beach 🌊✨

Today she serves incredibly delicious traditional food — casados, gallo pinto, and homemade flavors that truly warm your heart — all in a rustic, simple, and beautiful setting. Sometimes you’re even eating while watching monkeys in the trees right next to you 🐒💛

And the best part: it’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach. Perfect to stop by after a day in the sun or a surf session and satisfy your hunger with something made with love.

As she says herself: Every day she goes home with more energy than she had when she arrived… and you can feel that in everything she does.
