When Technology Finds What Your Eyes Can’t
This is exactly why the tools an inspector uses matter.
During a recent inspection, our technology helped identify two issues that were not obvious to the naked eye:
🔹 A hidden plumbing leak — Thermal imaging and moisture meters helped us identify signs of moisture that could otherwise have gone unnoticed.
🔹 Overheating in the electrical panel — Thermal imaging detected abnormal heat that warranted further evaluation by an electrical expert.
Neither issue was something you could simply see by walking through the property. Our client shared these photos of the repair in progress once a more invasive inspection exposed the issue was a nail hole in the supply line after previous renovations.
A home inspection is about more than looking at what’s visible and pointing out what appears to be wrong. Sometimes the most important problems are the ones you can't see.

Can we guarantee we'll find everything? Absolutely not. Nobody can. A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive evaluation of the property at a specific point in time, and some problems simply aren't detectable during an inspection.
What we can guarantee is that we take the inspection seriously, use the tools available to us, and make every reasonable effort to identify potential issues and educate our clients about what we find.
Technology doesn't replace an experienced inspector—it gives us another set of eyes.
