Our Story

Golf cars, Beach towels and the Pura Vida lifestyle. Originally selling with Remax and spec building in the beautiful cottage country of Muskoka Ontario Canada, I bring a lot of knowledge of the vacation home real estate industry, it’s unique needs and life style. My parents were Dutch immigrants to Canada. I was born into the trucking business in Brampton Ont. After a few million miles and moving into cottage country, I sold my trucks and became a Real Estate professional. I volunteered as the president of the Chamber of Commerce in Bracebridge, Ont. Became an Ontario New Home Registered Builder, gained many Realtor designations including Seniors Specialist, Certified Buyers Rep, etc. In 2012 I joined the Remax 100% Club and in 2013 received my Global Realtor designation in Tamarindo being voted by the class as “The Realtor that loves Costa Rica the Most”.

In 2014 I moved to Costa Rica. I had always wanted to live in a different country, just for some new adventure. It has been a life time of fun and always on adventure. I met my wife Rosa Puello in 2013. Having immigrated from Santa Domingo, she has been here 34 years, raised a family and is an accomplished Lawyer and Notaria. She’s a great resource and loves to dance. 2018 has been exciting as I sold My Bar/Restaurant in San Jose and relocated to Playas del Coco and the area I spent so many years on vacation, became a Costa Rican Citizen and joined the team at Remax.

I am known to my clients as being fun but direct, honest and willing to go the extra distance. My past clients have become and remain good friends. I like to do business based on trust and focus my business on Serious Buyers & Sellers.
