Spent the afternoon with my buddy Michael Simons remembering the wonderful times we have spent with Big Mike over the last 25 years at the El Velero. I could not believe it has been a year today Mike passed. So many memories, he had a "teddy bear" heart and was always there to help everyone that crossed his path. In Mikes honor I think we emptied the vodka shelf at the bar and had lots of laughs and a few tears. I loved sailing his sail boat with clients and he always looked after my children visiting over the years as if they were his, he always ran a tab for them LOL , fellow Canadians. Miss you bro and always in my heart when at the El Velero sitting in "Big Mikes" commander chair
