Four days. Countless conversations. A community that keeps raising the bar.
Last week was one for the books at CRGAR. We brought agents and brokers together from every corner of Costa Rica, hosted a visiting CIPS delegation from Texas REALTORS®, walked through some truly stunning properties, and reconnected with the people who make this industry feel like home.
The week covered a lot of ground: our educational course to sharpen the fundamentals, hands-on MLS broker meetings, a valuable strategy conversation with Ross Buck (CEO of OmniMLS) and Kevin Walters (our MLS Committee Chair), the CIPS certification course itself, and two unforgettable evenings at Cantomar and Arcadia at Brasilito Beach.
Serving as CRGAR's President, weeks like this one are exactly why I love what this organization stands for. Watching brand-new agents learn alongside seasoned professionals, trade ideas, form real relationships, and push the bar higher for real estate in Costa Rica — that's the whole point, and I'm proud to be in the middle of it.
It was also a record-setting week for us: our biggest turnout yet, plus the launch of our first hybrid learning format so even more members could join in, wherever they were.
None of it comes together without an incredible team behind the scenes.
Thank you to the Board of Directors and our Education Committee for your steady support. An extra thank you to Wendy Stoneham, our Education Chair, who poured so much time and energy into pulling off an experience this valuable.

And to thank you for giving us the perfect send-off: sunset, wine, good conversation, and agents from all over the area coming together to welcome our guests.
I'm ending this week inspired by the people in this industry and genuinely excited for what's ahead. Real estate in Costa Rica keeps growing, evolving, and setting a higher standard and I'm grateful to be along for the ride.
