Pura Vida from the Osa Peninsula! 🦜
Hi — We’re Janina and Josh, and this is Casas Del Bambu. We built it by hand on a little patch of jungle outside Puerto Jimenez, where Scarlet macaws treat our garden as their home.
The setup: two completely separate and private houses on a 2,800 sqm garden of banana, coconut and avocado trees. Both are fully air conditioned, easily accessable by vehicle, and wired with Starlink, so the frequent internet outages that happen here on the Osa wont make you to miss your zoom call.
🏡 Casa Del Bambú — king bed, sleeps 4, a screened kitchen you can cook in without donating blood to the mosquitoes, and a hammock on the covered patio that will quietly cancel whatever you had planned 😄
🏡 Casa Josh Del Bambú — our newest and a little more modern. Orthopedic queen, its own private gate and driveway, and a porch pointed straight at the sunset.
Pick a house, or bring the whole crew and take both!
5 min to town, 5 min to the corcovado boat ramp, 5 min to the beach, and roughly 0 minutes to the two dogs, Chico and Dora who will greet you like you owe them money.
