Today's Ugh/Funny moment - We are a business, but we are a family too. And as a mom who regularly makes my kids clean up thier messes, organize their toys, and go through old stuff to get rid of what they don't need, I then turn to my work. And what do I see? Google Drives (7 of them!) Google Photos, OneDrive, icloud, and Oh My god. It's like having a mansion of files and I am a total hoarder!!! Dang 'clouds'!!! So I am GOING THROUGH THEM ALL! And as I do, I will post old, forgotten UPDATED to 2021 blog articles, advice from random clients, Brochures for building to give you ideas on how to develop your property and how we can help -really the list is ENDLESS!!! Let's all update together to see where we are at now since almost having to CLOSE BTRG/CRPM when Costa Rica closed it's borders due to COvid 19 in 2020. Driving Restriction today through August 8th:
Nationwide Restrictions:

Costa Rica’s Office of the President has announced that new driving restrictions will begin on July 12, 2021. See below for a summary of current COVID-19 related restrictions. For an official Spanish language list of all new and existing sanitary measures, follow this link or visit presidencia.go.cr/alertas.

· At least through August 8, the vast majority of businesses can operate (with some capacity restrictions) from 5am until 9pm.
· National Parks may operate at 50% capacity
· Beaches will be open from 5:00am to 6:00pm

· Until August 8, a daytime vehicle restriction based on license plate numbers will be enforced nationwide between the hours of 5:00am and 9:00pm. For an unofficial English translation of this announcement, follow this link. Taxis, tourists with proof of hotel and flight reservations, and emergency vehicles are still allowed to circulate at all times.

· From July 12 – July 25, the daytime restrictions will be as follows:
o Mondays: Vehicles with plates ending in 1 and 2 cannot circulate.
o Tuesdays: Vehicles with plates ending in 3 and 4 cannot circulate.
o Wednesdays: Vehicles with plates ending in 5 and 6 cannot circulate.
o Thursdays: Vehicles with plates ending in 7 and 8 cannot circulate.
o Fridays: Vehicles with plates ending in 9 and 0 cannot circulate.
o Saturdays: Vehicles with plates ending in even numbers cannot circulate.
o Sundays: Vehicles with plates ending in odd numbers cannot circulate.

· From July 26 – August 8, the daytime restrictions will be as follows:

o July 26: Only vehicles with license plates ending in even numbers can circulate
o July 27: Only vehicles with license plates ending in odd numbers can circulate
o July 28: Only vehicles with license plates ending in even numbers can circulate
o July 29: Only vehicles with license plates ending in odd numbers can circulate
o July 30: Only vehicles with license plates ending in even numbers can circulate
o July 31: Only vehicles with license plates ending in odd numbers can circulate
o August 1: Only vehicles with license plates ending in even numbers can circulate

To update on the Airport Covid Testing in Costa Rica, the test is $65usd, takes about 10 min, and reservations are suggested. Https://covid.morphotr.com/
I think the price is outrageous, but cheapest in the country unless you use caja whose results take a week so misses the 3 day rule for travel back to the US. As a family of 5, honestly was not expecting this $300 price tag on our travel to the USA. Be more prepared than we were!
