One of the things we love about owning Casa Nido in Costa Rica is finding a way to make it a little better every year.

This year, we rebuilt and improved the hillside steps leading down the property and added a beautiful rustic handrail that fits perfectly with the natural surroundings. The views are as amazing as ever, but now getting around is even easier and safer. Thank you Marco and Eduardo!

We also harvested our very first soursop fruit from one of our trees! Our good Tico friend Eduardo showed us how to cut it and enjoy it. If you’ve never heard of soursop, it’s worth looking up—many people believe it has a variety of health benefits, and it tastes fantastic.

Busy busy day today at Casa Nido! Finished working on the Guanacaste wood table, pool repairs began, and of course Tattoo Tourism continues! Finished up with dinner at Loma Linda and Chimi says good night.
