Bringing the industry and the academia closer together is one of they key priority pillars of the Microsoft Innovation Center Cyprus. Assisting university students and graduates in having an insight into real workplaces is one of our strategic objectives.

Last night Mr Evangelos Hadjichristodoulou from Microsoft Cyprus gave an insightful, interesting and practical speech to the students of the European University Cyprus, paying particular attention on his professional journey and what he has learnt all
these years.

He also gave practical tips and advice on how students can land their first job in a multinational based in Cyprus and how they can develop those skills that will help them grow and excel, both personally and professionally. He also gave suggestions on some of the future technological trends and how students should start thinking strategically in building expertise around these areas.

It was lovely seeing more than 50 students with ICT and Mathematics background showing such great interest, asking questions and feeling energised and motivated after the end of our event!
