I feel compelled to make this statement, not out of desire, but out of necessity.
**I hope this statement offers clarity about what happened to RSS Logistics.**
Throughout 2021, RSS Logistics consistently imported numerous small parcels from the UK to Cyprus. Over 25 of these containers contained brand-new, undeclared goods. Clients were charged VAT and duty upon collection at the RSS Logistics office in Peyia.
However, these amounts never reached the intended official channels. (I've collected all the necessary evidence and handed it over to the authorities.).
Towards the end of 2021, customs detained a container and discovered the undeclared items. Multiple subsequent containers also improperly declared were also detained over the next months, this discovery led to substantial charges, fines, and penalties which hit in till September 2022. These costs became too onerous for the company to bear.
In June 2022, when I, Lauren, chose to invest in RSS Logistics, there was a clear agreement that Director Alan would personally address all outstanding company debts and be solely liable for any issues or actions that transpired before my involvement. Regrettably, he did not uphold this written and signed agreement and tried to cover up his illegal activities in the years before.
I've retrieved and submitted significant documentation, previously believed to be destroyed, to the authorities. This includes documents pertaining to certain actions undertaken by his wife and his two sons, which will be checked by the authorities.
To break down the financial fallout:
• Creditors: Over 120,000 €
• Clients: Approximately 40,000 €
• Loss to Investor, Lauren: More than 250,000 €
It is distressing to highlight that in the midst of this turmoil, Director and majority Shareholder Alan appears to have gained around 150,000 €.
Strikingly, Director Alan appears unfazed, perhaps due to his advanced age of 75. These factors may coincide with the usual court waiting time of over 5 years in Cyprus. This has led me to personally speculate that he might have deliberately sold a part of the company to me, fully aware of its impending failure of his illegal activities, aiming to extract maximum financial gain.
Alan is currently avoiding the Peyia Police and other authorities which try to reach him and also parted ways with his Lawyer.
Despite the passage of time, Director and majority Shareholder Alan persists in disseminating the most outlandish falsehoods and concocted narratives about me without any evidence.
I deeply regret the impact this situation has had on our staff, clients and everyone affected.
Warm regards, Lauren Co-Director, RSS Logistics
