From January through to the end of March the pace of life here changes. The beaches are quiet. The mountains turn green after the rain. Almond trees begin to blossom. There are long walks, winter sunshine, dramatic seas, village tavernas and the extraordinary feeling of having this beautiful corner of Cyprus almost to yourself.

And then there are those days when the sun comes out, the doors are open and you can sit on the terrace listening to the sea as if summer never really left.

I’m offering Shambala for a month long stays at a much discounted rate, maximum 90 days. for anyone looking to spend the colder months somewhere warmer, quieter and a little more connected to nature.

Perfect for slow travellers, remote workers, writers, creatives, couples or anyone simply wanting to step away from the usual winter routine for a while.

This isn’t a resort or a town full of bars and nightlife…
Just a little house, a pebble beach, the Mediterranean, mountains, village life and enough space to breathe.

Cyprus is not within the Schengen area,so if you’ve been dreaming about spending the winter somewhere beautiful, perhaps this is your sign.

There is a particular kind of stillness that arrives with sunset at Shambala, when the sea catches the last light and the sun slips slowly into the horizon.
There’s nowhere else in the word I would rather be than at Shambala at the end of the day. 🌅
