WHAT THE KVHA DOES
The committee's main activity is to meet with third parties to discuss matters of mutual interest. This includes: the Community Boards (local councils of Tala and Koili), the Paphos District Office, various other government departments and the Leptos management and representatives at various levels. The KVHA is the officially recognised representative for this purpose. The KVH
A, as well, organises events of relevance to members such as, entertainment, talks on property related matters and a variety of subjects of general interest. The Association publishes a Welcome Booklet and communicates with members on an ad-hoc basis, principally by e-mail. For members who are not computer/internet connected, the KVHA issues a monthly newsletter which is also posted on the Club Notice Board and the KVHA News website. WHAT THE KVHA DOES NOT DO
The KVHA does not become involved in any individual legal actions on the behalf of members. It can, however, offer advice on many property and more general matters. There is an all too common misconception that the Kamares Club and the KVHA are one and the same. The Kamares Club is a commercial enterprise open to all comers. The KVHA is a private organisation dedicated to representing the interests of its members. Nevertheless, as part of this role, the KVHA maintains a working relationship with the Kamares Club management on matters of mutual interest. The KVHA has no other responsibility regarding the club. To use the facilities of the Kamares Club; membership of the KVHA is not a prerequisite.
