I managed to rid myself of a fungal infection by rubbing myself vigorously against this tree stump a couple of years ago, the tree is now producing lots of toe gap and underpants fungus which we confuse with Oyster mushrooms and eat - yum!

After the hen geese were murdered by the foxes our four male geese have been in mourning. Ten goslings plonked in front of them was a bit of a risky strategy but after 20 seconds of shock and silence the boys went into Dad mode.
The boys guard the goslings and herd them around, the boys will attack anything that comes too close- good dads :-)

I made some sticks, I made some beeswax and linseed polish, bashed the sticks together and added a phone charging pop up...

I made some sticks, I made some beeswax and linseed polish, bashed the sticks together and added a phone charging pop up multiple thing. Now she's got something to store kitchen power tools in and a workbench for burning food on and then hacking it up. Made from offcuts of stuff I found in the barn.

Guru Andy, Hugh priest of Stick Fondling mostly responsible for encouraging this kind of perverse behaviour.

Anyway, when the wall is threatening to fall down it's time to go lintel and throw a few up. Three nice strong modern ones and a cut down granite fence post to make the front look pretty, even managed to scratch a donkey into it 😎
