A multifaceted hub for the Berlin and international music scene is being created in Oberbaum City - with studios, rehearsal rooms, record shop, clubs and commercial spaces. It is affordable because a big part of the space is reserved for various socio-cultural uses. The architecture sees itself as a homage to the traditional Berliner Gewerbehöfe, which emerged from the multi-s

tory factories in the 19th century and are now home to Industry 4.0 and the creative economy. A HOUSE FOR EVERYONE – CREATIVE SPACES
The House of Visual Music will be opened within the Tamara-Danz-Höfe. Here, free creative spaces offer a platform for diverse cultural uses. Socio-cultural work in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg is given a location that is oriented towards the common good – as well as being sustainably secured. This strengthens the creative, diverse community and creates synergies from which everyone benefits: everyone individually as well as the neighborhood as a whole. OBERBAUM CITY
With its traditionally strong focus in the areas of music and media business, the Oberbaum City is an indispensable part of the Creative Spree. The Tamara-Danz-Höfe pick up on this incisive focus: they plan to further strengthen the cultural DNA of their location while actively supporting the organic development of the environment. Music has been produced and performed in and around Oberbaum City for a long time: whether semi-professional in the rehearsal room, at Grammy level in a high-end studio, in sub and club culture or in front of 17,000 fans in an arena.

‍In der Oberbaum City entsteht ein facettenreicher Hub für die Berliner und internationale Musikszene — mit Studios, Ateliers, Proberäumen, Plattenladen, mit Clubs und Gewerbeflächen. Eine Community, die auf gemeinsamem Wachstum basiert, ein Ort zum Lebenlassen. Und das bezahlbar, denn ein Gutteil der Flächen ist verschiedenen soziokulturellen Nutzungen vorbehalten. Die Architektur versteht sich als Hommage an die traditionellen Berliner Gewerbehöfe, welche aus den Etagenfabriken im 19. FhainXberg Concert Tip: Laura Misch, Nov 18, Kantine am Berghain

London-based artist and producer is releasing her debut album „Sample The Sky“ on 13 October on One Little Independent Records. The album is a mesmerising journey through the London countryside and a tribute to care and connection with nature. Misch utilises organic electronic production, including wind-inspired saxophone, vocals and synthesis to create artfully crafted pop songs. She will be touring in support of the release.

Die Londoner Künstlerin und Produzentin veröffentlicht am 13. Oktober ihr Debütalbum „Sample The Sky“ bei One Little Independent Records. Das Album ist eine faszinierende Reise durch das Umland von London und eine Huldigung an Fürsorge und Verbundenheit mit der Natur. Misch nutzt organisch-elektronische Produktionen, einschließlich vom Wind inspiriertem Saxophon, Gesang und Synthesen, um kunstvoll gestaltete Pop-Songs zu kreieren. The 5 best walks through Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. Have fun discovering them!

1. Rummelsburger Bucht:
* Start at Berlin Ostkreuz, a major transport hub. You can grab a bite at nearby cafes like before your walk.
* Continue to Glasbläser Allee along Lake Rummelsburg, offering a peaceful waterside stroll and views of industrial halls. Stop by .
* Explore Rummelsburg Marina on the other side of the Spree River, featuring the restaurant and boat watching.
* Head to Victoriastadt, a charming residential area with well-preserved historic buildings. 

2. Landwehrkanal:
* Begin at U Schlesisches Tor and head to the boules court at the Landwehrkanal, a relaxed canal spot where you can watch players or play boules.

Forckenbeckplatz is a green space in the Friedrichshain district of Berlin. It is located in the northern part of the Samariterviertel.
The square is surrounded by residential buildings, shops and cafes.

The Park am Gleisdreieck is a public green and recreational area in Berlin. The park, which covers around 31.5 hectares, is located on the wasteland of the former Anhalter and Potsdamer freight station at Gleisdreieck and stretches from the Landwehrkanal across Yorckstraße to Monumentenbrücke.
 Mariannenplatz is located in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin's Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district, close to the former Wall. It runs in continuation of Mariannenstraße between Waldemarstraße and Wrangelstraße and is a relatively large square with a park-like character and a spacious lawn. At its northern end is the St. Thomas Church. The square is named after Princess Marianne of Prussia.

Volkspark Friedrichshain is a recreational park that was created in 1846 as Berlin's first municipal green space. It borders the Bötzowviertel in the Prenzlauer Berg district to the north.Its serene landscape, complete with ponds, lawns, and tree-lined paths, offers respite from city life. The park's iconic Märchenbrunnen fountain and lofty fairytale sculptures add a touch of enchantment, making it a beloved destination for both locals and visitors.

Rudolfplatz is a town square laid out in the 19th century in connection with residential development in what is now the Friedrichshain district of Berlin and forms the centre of the Rudolfkiez. Berlin's Osthafen, once a thriving cargo transfer point, has become a vibrant cultural and creative centre in the Friedrichshain district. It is known for the nearby East Side Gallery, the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall, and is home to various art and technology companies as well as bars and restaurants. With the Spree right on its doorstep and the Mercedes-Benz Arena nearby, Osthafen is a popular place for concerts, events and walks along the river.
