Hi, I am Lisl,👋 and I’m one of the many modern rooms in the Stud.io dormitory. I’m generous and open-minded; perfect for free spirits! But anyone, however they define and identify themselves, will call me home once they get to know me.

My 26.85 square meters offer enough space to be creative, whether using the pre-arranged desk or sitting on the floor for small to medium-sized craft projects. You’ll find that my floor-to-ceiling windows provide really good light for this! But I would appreciate it if you could respect me, just like you would anyone else, and try not to scratch or paint me so I can maintain my integrity.
You’ll also find a big closet with mirror doors and a spacious dresser for all your clothes and comfy belongings for relaxing in my cozy bed and pampering yourself in my mini luxurious bathroom.

Test your culinary creativity in my fully equipped galley kitchen where you can whip up delicious waste-free meals to enjoy with your friends.

One thing you won’t need to get creative with? Accessing high-speed internet! I’m equipped with high-speed WIFI at no additional cost to you — utilities are included too! So you can focus on being creative and I’ll take care of all the living logistics!

Planning a ski trip with your friends?🎿🏂 Here are some ski resorts you should check out🗻

Shortlist of recommended ski resorts:

1. Tegernsee Valley
The closest ski resort to Munich and the most environmentally friendly. With the combination ticket you can take a bobsled ride, ski for a day and enjoy the Jagertee in the evening, without having to worry about any car stress.

2. Laber Oberammergau (Freeski)
In Oberammergau, you can show off your freeski stunts and adventurous descents on the north slope, while making sure there’s plenty for everyone else to do at the adjacent snow park, which features nighttime slope runs and a team that caters to skiers of all levels.

3. Wilder Kaiser-Brixental
Not far from the Zahmen Kaiser is the Wilder Kaiser, which features 279 kilometers of varied skiing possibilities that attract the experienced piste skier as well as the tame snow bunny.

It can get boring quickly, you can find distractions that help you procrastinate, you can feel lonely. We know that it can be rough. But it can be hard to find a balance between not being alone and still having the peace and quiet you need to stay focused.

That’s why we offer a Studyroom — designed with you in mind, as a sacred space that gives you a sense of community while you study for your exams.

It’s an intimate setting with seating for over 20, and is located on the 1st floor of our dormitory. We know you’ll find the Studyroom to be a great place to study and have fun with your friends, but please be mindful of others who are also trying to study and keep a low volume while you’re there.

Time to ring in the new year! How are you celebrating tonight? Even though celebrations might look a little different again this year because of the pandemic, having restrictions doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun!

Here are 3 ideas for how to still make your New Year’s Eve celebrations festive!

1. Use star sprinklers/wonder candles or tabletop fireworks instead of big fireworks!

Fireworks are banned almost everywhere, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy them in some form. As a substitute for regular fireworks, use sparklers or table fireworks, which you can find in most supermarkets. Tip: light them up In a darkened room for an even greater effect!

2. Buy confetti cannons or quickly make them yourself!

Confetti cannons are simple to make (or can be bought if you don’t have time to make them). Just follow these steps:

1. Cut off the bottom of a paper cup
2. Inflate a balloon slightly and hold it shut
3. Press the balloon onto one of the open sides of the paper cup, while letting the air escape slowly, and tape it down well
4. Fill the cup with confetti
5. Pull the tip of the balloon at midnight - it's raining confetti!

Bonus tip: You can also use empty toilet paper rolls in place of the paper cups!

3. Mix cocktails

- Cosmopolitan
4.5 cl citrus vodka
1.5 cl Cointreau
1 cl lime juice
3 cl cranberry nectar

Put all components in the shaker, fill up with ice cubes and shake vigorously for 15 seconds (about 15 times). Strain the cocktail in a cocktail bowl twice. Garnish with a citrus zest on the edge of the glass if you like.
