On our Cambodia/Vietnam tour we went by boat to the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. People are living hete in the middle of a huge lake, with shops, restaurants, church, school, etc.

We stayed 2 days in Matsushima Bay near Sendai in a very japanese Tourist Hotel on the top of a hill with a breathtaking view over the bay. We visited there the famous cat island where 80 people lived and shared the island with about 150 wild living cats.
