Hi, I’m Sonia! The face behind Sage & Satin Events
For all my new followers, I thought it was time for a little reintroduction.
By day, I work full-time as a medical administrative professional, and I’ve been part of the healthcare world for over 20 years. Throughout my career, one thing has always stayed true about me, I genuinely love helping people.
Funny enough, my passion for weddings actually started long before social media. Over 20 years ago, I completed a wedding planning course simply because I loved the idea of bringing people together for such meaningful moments in life.
Over time, I realized my true passion isn’t just timelines and logistics (although I definitely love those too 😉). It’s helping create a calm, organized environment where couples and their families can truly be present and enjoy the day they’ve spent so much time planning.
I love being the person behind the scenes helping everything flow smoothly, coordinating vendors, managing timelines, calming nerves, solving problems quietly, and making sure everyone feels supported throughout the day.
To me, weddings are about so much more than one single day. They’re about family, connection, love, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
