I’am currently working on a project in the Dominican Republic, along side of ADA Real Estate, which will allow the working Middle-class Dominican men and woman an opportunity to rent a one, two or three bedroom condominium, to suit the needs of themselves and their families. As you may already know, there are over 95 All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts within a 30 mile stretch of land within the Punta
Cana, Bavaro, El Corticito, La Altagaria area and this area is expected to continue to grow with many new projects on the way. (Melia Hotels, Excellence El Carmen Hotels, Riu Palace Bavaro, many vacation rental/purchase condominiums and private villas are a few examples of projects already in the works)
With these additions to an already busy tourist area, the amount of staffing necessary to operate at a high volume will increase ten fold. Most staff are presently living on the grounds of their hotel in shared quarters. These living conditions are gravely poor and lack any form of privacy. Most of these employees live two to eight hours from their wife, husband, children and or parents. They will see them for three days approximately every 11 to 15 days and most will travel by bus to do so. This makes it very difficult for any type of real family life for these hard working middle-class citizens. The project I’am involved in will enable theses working middle-class Dominicans to rent a condominium in a Dominican community setting at an affordable price giving the the opportunity to unite with their families on a regular basis while still maintaining their extremely long daily work schedule. Our rental price to the working middle-class Dominican is $250.00 USD per month, that includes the maintenance fee of $50.00 USD per month.
