Timothy and Debbie had been talking with me by phone for months before they ever booked a flight. When they landed in Punta Cana and realized how far that was from Sosúa, they rented a car and drove anyway, just to meet me in person. Honestly, I still can't quite get over that. I didn't ask them to make that drive, and I never expect anyone to, but it told me something about how much they'd come to trust the process.

Building real relationships with people, not just closing deals, is what actually matters to me, and moments like this are exactly why.

They haven't bought yet. They've still got a home to sell back in New Jersey first, and I'll be honest, I can't wait for that day. Not because I'm in a hurry, but because I know what's on the other side of it: helping them find their final dream property, the one they've been picturing this whole time.
