There’s something special about Labour Day in Hamilton… the energy, the traditions, the people, and of course, the Labour Day Classic! 🏈🔥

Today isn’t just about football. It’s about community. Pride. Tradition. And showing up for the people and organizations that make Hamilton what it is.

I love seeing our city come together — families, friends, teachers, workers, businesses and lifelong Ticats fans all sharing the same passion. 🙌

Supporting our local team means supporting Hamilton. It means keeping our traditions alive, creating memories, and reminding ourselves that there’s nothing quite like the spirit of this city.

✊🏽 POWER TO THE PEOPLE. POWER TO EDUCATORS. POWER TO OUR COMMUNITIES. ✊🏽

Yesterday, I was proud to walk in the OSSTF Labour Day Parade alongside educators and community members who believe in something bigger than ourselves: the power of people standing together.

Being a teacher is about so much more than what happens inside a classroom.

We teach.
We listen.
We encourage.
We advocate.
We celebrate the wins and help pick up the pieces when things get hard.

And most importantly, we become part of the communities we serve.

To parents: we are on the same team. ❤️

Every parent wants their child to feel safe, supported, respected and capable of reaching their potential. Teachers want exactly the same thing. When parents and educators work together, our kids benefit — and our entire community becomes stronger.

Supporting educators isn’t just about supporting teachers. It’s about supporting the people who spend their days investing in your children and in the future of our communities.

Yesterday was a reminder that when we stand together — educators, families, workers and communities — our voices matter.

✊🏽 Power to the people.
Power to education.
Power to our kids.
Power to community.

And yes… I’ll always proudly walk for that. ❤️🍎

This weekend, I stopped by Por Vida in Oakville, and it was such a fun find! 🌮🍹 From the vibrant atmosphere to the beautifully presented dishes and fresh Mexican flavours, every detail made this feel like more than just dinner—it was an experience.

One of my favourite things about exploring Ontario is discovering places that bring people together through incredible food, unique spaces, and genuine hospitality. There are so many amazing local restaurants with stories waiting to be told, and I love sharing those discoveries with my community.

Last night reminded me why I love saying yes to experiences. ✨

An evening in Toronto with my daughter, Sienna, and her friend Helena, singing our hearts out to Ne-Yo and Akon under the city lights. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric—thousands of people, timeless hits, and that feeling that only live music can create.

Travel doesn’t always mean boarding a plane. Sometimes it’s a spontaneous night in your own province, discovering a different side of a city, making memories, and collecting moments you’ll talk about for years.

This summer has been all about choosing experiences over things, and this was definitely one for the highlight reel. 💛

Here’s to chasing sunsets, city lights, great music, and adventures with the people who make every journey unforgettable.
