I hesitated to post this because I wasn’t sure how it would be received—but the truth is, I have a deep, personal connection to the Dominican Republic. Over the course of this past year, I’ve created some of my most cherished memories there. I’ve celebrated milestones, found peace in its beauty, and built friendships that have become like family. The DR has become a second home to me, and its people hold a special place in my heart.

That’s why the tragic collapse of Revelation Club in Santo Domingo hit me so hard. Reports say over 200 lives were lost and many more injured—a heartbreaking reality that’s left families and communities shaken. Among the victims were beloved public figures, but each life lost was someone’s parent, child, sibling, or friend.

This kind of tragedy doesn’t just affect a place—it touches anyone with a heart. My thoughts and prayers are with every person impacted by this unimaginable event. I’m standing in love and solidarity with the people of the Dominican Republic during this painful time.
