I have been working out at PureGym in Aarhus at Nørreport the last 3 months. My swimming has become secondary to the weights. Now I go 3 times a week to the gym and 2 times swimming. I typically end up having one day of rest from the exercise and I also like going for long walks. 10 km. I always swam sometimes but I started at the gym again for real after a heart attack 4 years ago today. I love the gym.

My partner and manager of Boyter Island SRL with attorney Ingrid de la Cruz.

They have been close friends since university. We have our business address for Boyter Island SRL at the offices of Studio Legal, which is owned by Ingrid, and she owns the office space. She is a specialist in labor law.

Raysa works with real estate in Santo Domingo centered around the areas of Bella Vista, La Esperilla and the Polígono, the center of Santo Domingo.

We were specialists in commercial space together, but Raysa now works more broadly, including residential real estate in Bella Vista.

I feel I am in good hands in Santo Domingo. Raysa takes care of the administrative side of things, and Ingrid provides the office space and legal support.

Working on my website for the online publication VidaStories. In Santo Domingo, I met with developer Lorenzo Solano, and he recommended web designer Smiling Perez, who helped me with the website for the office in Santo Domingo as an outsourcing studio. We finished that website, www.boyterisland.com.

In Aarhus, I now work on the website www.vida-stories.com myself, but I have the option of having Smiling Perez help with improving the design and Lorenzo Solano helping with the technical side.

In Denmark, I use AI tools and I will try and get help via networking in Aarhus and Copenhagen. At the same time, I have started working on the first paid publications. I will have an annual fee of 50 USD, which gives access to the existing archive and future publications. On the website, I added links to the site for the outsourcing studio in Santo Domingo and my personal website in the footer.

In Aarhus, I typically start my day with exercise, either at the gym lifting weights, swimming at an exercise pool or going for a long walk. Then I usually go to the public library Dokk1, Godsbanen or somewhere else nice—maybe a cafe like today.

March 2026 | Santo Domingo

Mission accomplished: Boyter Island SRL is now an active outsourcing studio for my online publication, VidaStories.

This allows me to work from Denmark with my team of collaborators in the Dominican Republic: my partner and manager, Raysa Suarez; lawyer Ingrid de la Cruz; web designer Smiling Perez and developer Lorenzo Solano.

When I am in Santo Domingo, I can meet with the team in person and continue my networking, making my stays in the DR more meaningful, enjoyable and productive.

This setup gives us the best of both worlds: a professional yet relaxed base in La Esperilla in Santo Domingo for content creation and outsourcing, while Raysa continues building her specialized real estate practice.

While some of our team overlaps, she also works with an experienced freelance business administrator for operations and a dedicated tax accountant for monthly tax compliance.
