One of the best dining experiences we've had in Manta!🍷✨

Last night, a client and I enjoyed an incredible dinner at Vintage, a hidden gem just off Restaurant Row that will certainly impress!

The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a great restaurant—quiet, beautifully decorated, and intentionally limited seating that creates a relaxed and exclusive dining experience.

We started with appetizers: the French onion soup was absolutely outstanding, while the Thai salad was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For dinner, I enjoyed the filet mignon and langostino surf & turf with roasted vegetables and creamy potato purée, while my great friend/client customized a delicious wood-fired pizza straight from their brick oven.

Of course, we paired everything with a glass of wine and finished with dessert. The indulgent chocolate cake was fantastic, but the homemade deep-dish apple pie may have stolen the show.

From the exceptional food and attentive service to the welcoming atmosphere, Vintage delivers a dining experience that rivals restaurants anywhere. A bonus for visitors and expats is that owner JP speaks excellent English, several staff members speak English, and the menu includes both descriptions and photos of the dishes, making ordering easy and enjoyable.

If you live in Manta and haven't been to Vintage yet, put it on your list. And if you're considering a move to Ecuador or visiting to explore the area, this is absolutely one of the restaurants you should experience while you're here!

Thank you to our wonderful friends/clients Amelia And JP for helping to dispel the rumors and negativity about this beautiful country! We had such a great time getting to know them while they were here, and they have a fantastic YouTube channel to follow! They lived in Ecuador for several years and even here in Manta for a year, before embarking a fantastic journey around the world to explore and see more countries. We miss them and look forward to seeing them again on one of their future trips back to Ecuador! Gracias amigos!
