Accor strengthens Egypt presence as deal inked for first Novotel in Orouba Skyline Alexandria
Accor, a world-leading augmented hospitality group, is cementing its presence in Egypt after Celebrating and signing a management agreement with major real estate developer El Orouba Misr for a Novotel property in one of Alexandria’s prestigious new developments (Orouba Skyline)

“It is an honour for Accor to be selected as the hospitality partner for Orouba Skyline in a destination that has been a target on our development radar for some time,” said Mark Willis, CEO, Accor Middle East & Africa.

“Our strategic partnership with El Orouba Misr, a developer of landmark projects across Alexandria, allows us to demonstrate the lifestyle appeal of the Novotel brand in a location where residents and visitors desire high-quality accommodation and dynamic spaces to meet, relax and conduct business.”

Skyline’s portfolio spans an administrative and business tower, which Dorsch master Architecture one of the top five companies in office designing in the world has worked on designing. SkyHub, and SkyMed a medical tower, in addition to a regional mall.

Engineer/ Hazem Eldeeb, CEO, El Orouba Misr, said: “We have partnered with Accor, a global hospitality leader, to ensure Orouba Skyline’s hotel offering upholds the development’s high standards and caters to the needs of the local and visiting community. We envision the project as a modern hub providing upscale business, medical and retail facilities, which will be significantly enhanced by Novotel’s meeting, dining and wellness offering.”


Orouba Misr is the biggest real estate developers in Alexandria and one of Egypt’s top developers, since 25 years ago had been a pioneer in development in New Cairo and Pyramids Plato area as well as the first to establish luxuries residential compounds in Alexandrian as Orouba Royal compound and Sedra. Orouba has expanded its line of business to a partnership with MAF (Carrefour) to establish ten shopping malls all over Egypt. Orouba Misr has signed an agreement with AAST to build new international schools and colleges within the coming few years in Orouba’s next project.
