Under the auspices of HE Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, and in the presence of HE Mr. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and HE Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Mohamed Khaled El-Assal and Karim Khaled El-Assal, Co-Founders of People & Places, alongside Shady Hassan, Vice President of Hotel Development for North Africa at Marriott International, have signed a landmark agreement to develop and operate 798 hotel rooms and branded residences across Egypt’s most sought-after destinations.

This landmark collection spans two premier hospitality brands: in the North Coast, The Med Ras El Hekma will host 438 hotel rooms and branded residences under Ritz-Carlton, alongside 360 hotel rooms and branded residences at Hills of One - West Cairo (Sphinx) under the first The Luxury Collection in Egypt.

This 798-key portfolio, representing total investments of EGP 21.7 Bn, elevates luxury hospitality standards and directly contributes to Egypt’s strategic tourism goals.
