"Three Kings" Day on Jan 6th is a big deal in Majorca and Alcúdia is getting into the swing of things. Last night in the market square we had quite a few Kings (all under 5 feet tall). As well as quite a few ponies - those kings have got to travel in style after all. The kings periodically threw handfuls of sweets over the barrier to their grateful subjects which was an unexpected bonus....

Happy New Year to all our friends and followers. This year Robert & I went down to Palma to watch the fireworks from the Cathedral and we ended up standing right next to one of the launching points. Quite an experience to have them going off right next to us and all around.
