There is a large open plan lounge and dinning area with a window and door out onto a small patio area with seating and access to the pool.

The garden is mature and well tended but easy to maintain and is blessed with a number of different places to seat and relax in addition to sunbathing around the pool.

There are two very good Restaurants nearby, The Meson Rio Seco and San Marino both within easy walking distance, and a further 1km or a 10 minute walk are the majority of the facilities that this wonderful village has to offer.

‘Fifteen years of teaching Spanish as spoken in Spain to large numbers of English speakers helped me develop a simplified lesson series, which rapidly provides the critical building blocks needed for fluency.

‘My core course has proven to be a significant benefit for students who have picked up a lot of vocabulary but have not been taught the core structure of the language.

This positions students to roll straight into the second part of his course, spoken Spanish on the journey to fluency, which is, of course, is the overall aim.

James Bretherton said today ‘We have had an increasing number of intermediate and advanced students doing my courses.

After completing the core course, which can quickly be done in six to eight weeks. (the new record is now just over two weeks) students have the keys to the language, and they then can really soak up spoken Spanish in the next part of the course. I am teaching pure Castilian Spanish, not Central or South American dialect.

To allow prospective students to get a feel for this second part of my curriculum, I have produced a spoken Spanish demonstration video with small clips from the online practice lessons which I use to develop students’ ‘ear’.

‘With our spoken Spanish lessons, we provide a lot of additional support, so that our students are extended, and of course, that means faster progress. The 50 online practice lessons, usually of two parts, averaging over an hour and often with expert videos, present students with a wide range of Spanish speakers from different regions and ages.

‘So, watch my spoken Spanish video, which will give you a glimpse of how you will be able to shift from slow and painful to full spoken/hearing Spanish, learning to converse at ever-increasing speed over time, gradually moving to Spanish fluency. ‘
