A lovely review from recent guests....
“We stayed here at the beginning of August for 1 week - 4 adults and 4 children. Booking with Anne was excellent. She was always very responsive to all my questions. She made me feel at ease from my first email to my last and I was very confident in what we had booked. She went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Anne also has a local English friend called David who helps with the meet and greet etc. It has to be said, he was excellent throughout our stay. Checking up via text on our needs and allowing us a little extra time in the villa while we waited for our taxi to the airport – Thank you David. Also note – Paul the Pool cleaner turned up every other morning to clean the pool. The Villa – If you are looking for a place to stay with children then you can’t go wrong here. The villa is very nice and plenty of room inside but it’s the outside that the kids will love. Bedrooms are good and have air-con (air-con is charged at 1 euro an hour – however they leave you with around 12 euros to start off with – we didn’t spend much more than 10 euros on top of the 12 all week) in each with 2 rooms also having ceiling fans. Kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, cooker, microwave and washer. Two fridges were also well used in the summer heat. The gardens go all around the house and are on different levels so they can go an explore while you relax by the pool. The villa is very secure. You do not need to worry at all about kids escaping etc. We felt very safe and relaxed while the kids explored. The pool is much bigger than the pictures show, it’s also deep so kids will need to be supervised while in the pool. It does have steps into pool for little ones to get into and out safely, but no shallow end. The pool also had floats, balls and rubber rings to play with. Our children were 4,5,6 and 7 and all had a fantastic time splashing around, in fact we struggled to get them out of the pool. View from the gardens are great from every angle. Sea view in front and hills behind you, you wouldn’t know you were in a large area of villas. Great BBQ in garden to use. Location – The beach is 20-30 minutes’ walk, downhill. The walk down is very steep in places so young children will struggle. If you do walk it, head up to Wynn’s Bar on the corner and walk down from there as it is a little less steep and easier on the legs. You shouldn’t attempt to walk back up unless you are brave. Myself and the other husband tried this, it was hard work, but can be done. Took about 35 minutes going back up".
