Villa Andalucía has a rich history. Until 2025, the villa was run by Helen, who successfully operated a B&B here for almost 20 years, offering several studios to her guests. At the beginning of 2026 we had the honour of taking over this special place from Helen. We will no longer operate it as a B&B, but instead offer our guests a fully equipped villa and a studio apartment for a well-deserved holiday. Villa Andalucía therefore provides plenty of space, privacy and tranquillity for up to six guests. At the moment, March 2026, we are busy with a large-scale renovation. Supporting local 🤍

One of the things we love most about life in Cómpeta is discovering and supporting local businesses. So much of Villa Andalucía has been created with the help of local craftspeople and shops — including this beautiful sign, which was locally made especially for the villa. ✨

During our renovation, we discovered an amazing local building supply store in Cómpeta, where we bought so many things for the villa. And we still love shopping locally for our groceries, too.

We’ve even discovered the local second-hand shop, filled with little treasures and beautiful finds from the village. ☺️

It’s these small, local discoveries that make Villa Andalucía feel even more connected to Cómpeta — and we love being part of it. 🇪🇸🤍

Big milestones! Since January, we’ve been the proud owners of Villa Andalucía, and today we had the absolute honor of meeting the Mayor of Cómpeta Rosa Luz Fernández Cebreros. We are so excited to be part of this beautiful community! 🇪🇸✨

Progress report! 🛠️ High up in the hills and deep in the dust. It’s messy, it’s loud, and there’s a cement mixer where the lounge chairs should be but that view makes every bit of renovation worth it. We can’t wait to swap the power tools for a poolside drink. 🥂✨
