Sometimes you look at a house and think: I wouldn’t live here myself. But the investment potential here is huge!
And the main reason is the location.
The house is located in Los Pinos, Calpe, very close to La Fossa Beach — one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the Costa Blanca. And when we’re talking about investment property, the distance to the sea can sometimes matter more than the color of the walls, the furniture, or even the renovation.
Yes, personally, I would update this house. And that’s exactly what makes it interesting to me.
It already has everything you can’t create with a renovation: the location, 350 m² of living space, an 800 m² plot, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a swimming pool, garage, terraces, and views of the sea, mountains and Peñón de Ifach.
The interior, on the other hand, can be changed.
Sometimes a few smart renovation decisions can completely transform not only how a property looks, but also how it is perceived - and its potential value. Especially when the property is located somewhere people genuinely want to live and spend their holidays.
I actually love properties like this. Not the ones where everything has already been renovated, beautifully staged and photographed - and all of that has already been added to the price. I mean the properties where you can still see the potential before others do and create value through your own vision.
That’s exactly how I would look at this house.
Not: “Wow, I want to live here right now.”
But rather:
“Hmm… this could become a very interesting investment property.”
And for an investor, I believe the second thought can sometimes be much more valuable than the first😉
