✈️ Alicante-Elche Airport Smashes Records This Summer!

Big news for the Costa Blanca! Alicante-Elche Airport welcomed a record-breaking 2.3 million passengers in July — an impressive 11.1% jump compared to last year, according to airport operator Aena.

🇬🇧 Around a third of all travellers came from the UK, once again confirming the Costa Blanca as one of Brits' favourite Spanish getaways.

📈 For the year so far, the airport has welcomed almost 12.5 million passengers (Jan–July) — up 9.6% on the same period in 2025.

With August and September still to come — traditionally two of the busiest months — Alicante-Elche looks set to smash last year's annual record of 20 million passengers! 🙌
