We have just finished with our anual 'Poda de palmera'
Palmen müssen gepflegt werden wie Kinder,
D.h. ein Spezialist klettert hoch, schneidet Äste weg und schält dem Stamm entlang. Alles wird entsorgt, d.h. kompostiert..

Für mich immer ein Freudenfest. Die grösste Palme war 3.8m als wir das Haus kauften, sie ist nun geschätzte 18m hoch. Das nächste mal bei der Pflege, bitte ich den Gärtner ein Metall-Teil zu befestigen. Dann kann ich mit dm Laser Pointer messen.
