A day trip to Córdoba, Andalusia, the capital of the province of Córdoba.
It was conquered by invading Islamic armies in the eighth century, then became the capital of the Islamic Emirate and then Caliphate of Córdoba, including most of the Iberian Peninsula.

It has been estimated that in the 10th century Córdoba was the most populous city in the world, and under the rule of Caliph Al Hakam II it had also become a centre for education under its Islamic rulers.

May celebrations - Tourism is especially intense in Córdoba during May because of the weather and as this month hosts three festivals.

The May Crosses Festival takes place at the beginning of the month. During three or four days, crosses of around 3 m height are placed in many squares and streets and decorated with flowers and a contest is held to choose the most beautiful one. Usually there is regional food and music near the crosses.

The Patios Festival is celebrated during the second and third week of the month. Many houses of the historic centre open their private patios to the public and compete in a contest. Both the architectonic value and the floral decorations are taken into consideration to choose the winners. It is usually very difficult and expensive to find accommodation in the city during the festival.

Córdoba's Fair takes place at the ending of the month and is similar to the better known Sevilla Fair with some differences, mainly that the Sevilla one is private, while the Cordoba one is not.

The city has history of jewish, muslim and christian
where the Rambam lived.

summer is around the corner , and costa del sol
is the place to spend summer vacation.
in apt. by the sea, at the city of Fuengirola., just 20 min. drive from MALAGA airport.
staying here allows you, to enjoy a peacefull sunny days at the beach, with a day travel for example to Gibraltar - where you cross the border (please have your passport with you) a territory of the United Kingdom, located in the southwestern tip of the Iberian Peninsula and Europe. please park at the entrance of the nature park who leads, by walking distance to the amazing rock of Gibraltar , the view from above is stuning, the atlantic ocean from one side. the Mediterranean sea on the other side, and in the in the Horizont , - hello Maroco.
also travell indise the tunnels of the rock , explore the amazing Stalactite cave - where they have live concerts. and all that while having nice walks among the nicest monkeys around.
for lunch , you can visit the old town city center with many nice restsurants, and shop there for alcohol or cosmetics, its a tax free area.
