We have been coming to the Costa Brava for over 30 years, as my mother is from Roses. I’ve worked in the hospitality and hotel business for 25 years and am now retired — and I can honestly say this apartment checked every box. We didn’t have to purchase a single thing; it was perfectly equipped.
Perched at the top of the hill, the apartment offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Llançà, the town itself, and the Pyrenees mountains. The mornings and evenings are incredibly peaceful. You can easily walk down to the beach or the coastal walking trails… but getting back up is no joke, and for many it may be too difficult. My suggestion: put the car in neutral and coast down to the bottom of the hill, then park in the free lot right across the street. From there, you’ll find three great places to eat and have a drink, plus a small grocery store that truly has everything you need.
You can also walk to the town of Llançà — about a 25‑minute, easy, scenic walk along the coastline — where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops.
Now, about the host: she is a ROCK STAR. We started this process months in advance since we travel from San Antonio, Texas, and she was fantastic from start to finish. From the deposit to the final payment and every question we had — including once we arrived — she was simply SUPER.
