This cave house has absolutely everything: stunning views, a cracking interior patio, enough parking for friends and friends of friends :)
It's on urbanised land which makes life so much simpler in many aspects as long as the town hall like what you proposing.
The only thing that hasn't seen much development recently is the décor, which appears to have entered a long-term relationship with the previous century. Still, while the paint may be tired, the possibilities are wide awake.

This well maintained cave house is like a tardis, and round every corner/through every room is a very pleasant surprise!!

The cave is situated in a very quiet location in the little hamlet of Puente Arriba, which is part of the lovely village of Benamaurel. Puente Arriba has a bar, a church and a little shop. It is situated in between Benamaurel and Castillejar and is 7km to each.

You enter the property into the living room and if you turn right there is a kitchen/diner. Behind the kitchen is bedroom 1. At the back of the lounge is bedroom 2 which has a sink in it and a door that leads to a bathroom.

If you walk through the bathroom there is another door that leads to a lovely little bar which is also accessible from the patio, great for entertaining! There is another room at the back of the bar.

Beyond the kitchen is an office/study and if you go through there you wil find a shower room and large pantry.

There is also another room off from the kitchen which is a bedroom (3). Then you follow the cave through and you come to another bedroom (4) and a doorway with stairs leading to the attic flat(which used to be the old grain room, you can still see the original grain shoot).

The stairway has a pretty tree feature and the top of the stairway opens up to a beautiful attic flat consisting of a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room with its own separate entrance through the living room. It has many rustic features such as wooden beams and is really pretty.

This attic flat has two entrances from the main road which is above the cave - one via a slope and one via steps.

At the top of the cave is the antique telephone box and grain store.

All mains services are connected and the property has a soakaway. Wifi is currently connected. There is a water reserve that can be used on the rare occasion of low water pressure.

The cave is being sold partly furnished and the attic flat fully furnished.

The cave has good access and a large patio area with plenty of room for parking, a garage and lots of room for enjoying the most beautiful view from its southerly orientation (with a drink from the bar)!! Beyond the bar is a large wood store perfect for wood and storing garden furniture etc.

It is around 1h30 from the coast and 25 minutes (30km) away from Lake Negratin which has beach areas.

As Monty Python taught us, no day is truly complete without at least one entirely inappropriate reference. However in the case of this property and it's vast terrace in comparison to others, not so well endowed in that department, the statement is valid :)

While there’s no shortage of space outside, the cave house itself is pleasingly roomy. Some of the village caves can feel a little snug, as though they were designed by someone with a strong dislike of personal space or a 'that'll do' attitude.'

The flat ceilings, thanks to the local rock strata, are another welcome surprise. There’s so little curvature that you can hang artwork where artwork is normally hung, rather than at knee level. Particularly handy if you're over five foot tall, as it means the bathroom mirror can be installed at a sensible height instead of catering exclusively to 'Borrowers' and small woodland creatures.

The village is quiet with a handful of amenities, wiggly streets with a fair bit of parking available which is a bonus but the greatest asset has to be it's location, Lake Negratin is on the doorstep 😁 Perfect for all kinds of watery goings on all year round.
