For the garden, we've been hard at work with the well renowned and respected Landscape Designer, Toni Ballester 🌳
The Ca Lola landscaping project is mainly characterised by the maintenance of practically all existing plant species. We only intend to eliminate the ficus spp and the Phoenix canariensis palm tree from the bottom of the pool.
The garden that we propose has 2 spaces of different conception:
At the entrance we propose a garden of transit and contemplation, where, in addition to the existing species, Mediterranean shrubs will be added to create structure (Pittosporum tobira nana, Westringia fruticosa and Pistacia lentiscus). The main characteristic of these shrubs is their resistance to drought and low maintenance, in addition to their special beauty when combined. These shrubs will contrast in texture with the grasses that we propose for this area: Muhlenbergia capillaris, Stipa tenuissima and pennisetum orientale. These grasses will have a special shine during the attractors. Finally, we included clouds of Erigeron Karvinkianus that would provide color with its tiny white and pinkish flowers.
In the pool area we proposed a more tropical garden, where plants with large, green foliage will stand out, such as Scheffleras actinophylla and Strelitzia augusta. The aim is to frame the views of the sea, but maintaining the privacy of the area as much as possible. Just below this terrace, we propose a platform with sea views that can be used as a view point, reading corner, or to practice yoga or sports.
