The Gibraltar Government is in discussions with airlines over potential new connections to Spain, France, the Netherlands and other European destinations, as the airport looks to expand its European network.

New services could begin to emerge from summer 2027, although no new routes have yet been confirmed.

For future homeowners, greater connectivity could mean easier journeys to Alcaidesa — and more spontaneous weekends of golf, beach days and Mediterranean sunshine.

Around 20 minutes by car from Gibraltar Airport, Alcaidesa is home to two One Eden communities: Serenity Frontline Golf Homes and Infinity Seaview Homes.

The routes are still under discussion, but Alcaidesa’s position close to Gibraltar places it perfectly to benefit from the airport’s growing regional ambitions.

72 players and more than £23,000 raised for childhood cancer research.

On 2 September, La Hacienda Links Golf Resort hosted another successful edition of the RICC Charity Golf Day — a memorable occasion combining sport, solidarity and community in a relaxed, competitive and friendly atmosphere.

Among those taking part was professional golfer Mitchell Bynert, a Golf instructor at Valle Romano Golf. We also had the pleasure of welcoming , director at Fairhomes, who joined us for this special occasion.

One Eden was proud to participate with its own team and as sponsor of the Longest Drive Challenge, supporting an initiative that makes an important contribution to childhood cancer research.

Thanks to the generosity of the players, sponsors and collaborators, this year’s event raised more than £23,000 for Research into Childhood Cancer (RICC).
Our sincere thanks to RICC, La Hacienda Links Golf Resort and everyone who helped make the day such a success.

A new chapter is expected for the Gibraltar frontier from 15 July 2026.
The EU Council has confirmed that the EU–UK Agreement on Gibraltar is expected to enter into provisional application on this date, with the objective of removing physical barriers to the movement of people and goods between Spain and Gibraltar, while safeguarding Schengen, the EU Single Market and the Customs Union.
For the Campo de Gibraltar, La Línea, Sotogrande and Alcaidesa, this is more than a border update.
It is a lifestyle and connectivity shift.
