🦠 Covid19 update from the Junta de Andalucía 🦠
The committee of experts have approved:
- Meetings go from 4 to 6 people, except inside the hospitality business (ie outside meetings can be for 6 people).
- In municipalities with level 2 or less, the hours are extended until 21:30 for all non essential activities.
Juanma Moreno reminds us to remain prudent to regain normalcy.
We will find out tomorrow which areas have moved into level 2.
We will update you as we hear more.

- the perimeter of Andalucia remains closed.
- the perimeter of the 8 provinces remain closed.
- the curfew stays from 22:00-06:00.
- perimeter closure for municipalities with over 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
- non essential businesses closed in municipalities with over 1000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

More people cycling and driving again now.

Just a reminder.

Stay safe and be kind.

Phase 1 more people are out and about driving cars again.

Please respect cyclist by giving them 1.5m space when you over take them. If you don't you can be fined or worse you could injure or even kill someone.

My daughter cycles on the road, so please be kind, drive and ride safe.

El Weekend Beach Festival se presenta en FITUR 2016 y suma en primicia al cartel a LOVE OF LE***AN.

El Alcalde de Vélez Málaga, Antonio Moreno, el Teniente Alcalde de Torre del Mar, Jesús Pérez y Fátima Rodríguez, de la organización del festival, han hecho público en el stand de la Costa del Sol de FITUR la confirmación del grupo LOVE OF LE***AN, así como otras bazas fuertes confirmadas.

El acto se ha celebrado inmerso en plena vorágine turística en la feria de FITUR, donde se ha proyectado un vídeo promocional del festival y otro del grupo que ha anunciado su participación. En la presentación los políticos y la organización han coincidido en subrayar la importancia y beneficios que tiene para el municipio celebrar un festival de este nivel.

Los catalanes LOVE OF LE***AN publican su nuevo disco “El poeta Halley” el próximo 4 de marzo del que ya han adelantado su primer single en audio y formato videoclip titulado “Bajo el volcán”, dirigido por Nysu. La formación de Santi Balmes repite en el Weekend Beach (tocaron hace dos años) pero con novedades y con ese inconfundible sonido indie que los caracteriza y que los hará brillar de nuevo en julio en la playa de Torre del Mar.

En la presentación se han destacado los artistas y grupos nacionales e internacionales confirmados hasta la fecha como la del popular cantante reggae ALPHA BLONDY & THE SOLAR SYSTEM, el rapero universal WIZ KHALIFA, los esperados 091, el holandés rey de la dance music mundial HARDWELL, la cantautora extremeña BEBE, el Mc nacional NACH, los poperos IZAL, SECOND y DORIAN, los electrónicos SPOR y UMEK, los fiesteros LA PEGATINA, los rockeros OBUS, DEF CON DOS, MEDINA AZAHARA, FUEL FANDANGO, CELTAS CORTOS, FYAHBWOY y un largo etcétera.
