Boutique countryside cottage in Tenerife offering peaceful stays, plunge pool and thoughtful experiences surrounded by nature. This is not a resort.

Eden Sanctuary Retreat is a private eco stay nestled in the highlands of Tenerife, created as part of the Eden Farm Project. We offer a small number of intimate stays for guests seeking solitude, nature, and a slower rhythm of life. The cottage sits within a living sanctuary — home to rescued horses, free-roaming animals, and land in the early stages of regeneration. By staying with us, guests quietly support ethical animal care and the long-term restoration of the land. It is a place to pause, breathe, and reconnect — simply and intentionally.

Some things don't need to be the centre of attention.

They just sit comfortably where they're meant to be.

We wanted Casa Eden to feel less like a holiday rental and more like somewhere you immediately relax.

Slow mornings, natural materials and quiet corners are all part of the experience.

How would you like to spend your Sunday?

Sometimes a place doesn't need to say very much.

We wanted the first impression of Casa Eden to feel calm from the moment you step through the door.

What is the first thing you notice when you arrive somewhere you love?

Soft light, quiet rooms, and a slower kind of afternoon at Casa Eden.
A secluded rural stay in the hills of south Tenerife.

For many years this place was know as something different.

It has grown from a small sanctuary where rescue animals found safety, and a slower way of living took shape.

Most of the horses that shaped Eden Equine Tenerife are no longer with us. The ones that remain are simply enjoying the peaceful retirement they deserve.

So whilst that chapter has come to an end, everything it taught us remains.

The slower pace.
The connection to nature.

Today, Casa Eden is becoming a place where others can experience that feeling too.

A beautiful cottage
Quiet mornings
Star filled skies
Space to breathe

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey so far.

This is the next chapter.

Welcome to Casa Eden.

Dorris in her spot.
Every tree, every shade, part of something we are growing.

Dorris en su rincón.
Cada sombre, cada árbol, forma parte de lo que estamos creando.
