Today my little girl turns 10. It seems only yesterday that I was holding her hand everywhere I went, and now she’s becoming more independent, braver and more herself with every passing day. Watching her grow up is the greatest gift of my life.

I’m often asked whether starting your own business is worth it. The answer isn’t always straightforward, because running a business involves some very difficult days, plenty of doubts, a lot of hard work and a great deal of loneliness. However, thanks to my business, I’ve been able to be there for many of my daughter’s important moments: taking her to school, accompanying her to her training sessions, looking after her when she’s ill, attending lots of her performances, travelling together, listening to her stories without checking the time, and enjoying her childhood. All of this is filling our minds with lovely memories that will stay with us forever.

This journey has had its ups and downs, but every effort has been worthwhile when I think of all the time we’re spending together.

The skies over Gran Canaria will treat us to a very special spectacle: a partial solar eclipse that will cover much of the Sun just as the sun sets.

If you’re in Gran Canaria, find a spot with a clear view of the western horizon, don’t forget to wear approved eclipse glasses to view the eclipse safely, and enjoy an event that won’t happen again for many years.

B**r, one of the most widely consumed drinks in the world, has its own day of celebration. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 is celebrated on the first Friday in August each year.

The celebration was established with the aim of spending time with friends, with b**r taking centre stage.
