The walk down to the beach takes in Thursday's market with fresh produce in abundance. The local fair in Summer also 10 mins walk The resort Lo Pagan merges with the town of San Pedro Del Pinatar on the sunny Costa Calida an authentic Spanish holiday resort. Lo Pagan has been a firm favourite of people from Madrid for many years and now is also a firm favourite for English, Swedish, Dutch and many other nationalities looking for fun, sun, sea and authentic Spain. The towns are host to weekly markets throughout the year with buzzing nightlife at La Puntica beach together with funfairs and evening markets in July/August. Jose Antonio bakery and supermarkets in the town have everything you may need although Dos Mares shopping centre is a short drive away. Las Charcas mud baths at La Mota Beach is a local attraction free to enjoy with the summer months having the bonus of water sports available to enjoy at reasonable rates for kaying, paddle boarding and jet ski hire and tours. The resorts are home to excellent gastro restaurant Venezuela, in addition to the excellent food Rubio 360 is renowned for they also have the most wonderful views over the Mar Menor, the perfect setting for a romantic meal and experiencing the most wonderful sunsets, or simply to enjoy drinks on the terrace. Santiago De La Ribera is another friendly town to explore, a pleasant walk away where you will find a ferry to La Manga, a great way to enjoy a boat ride on the Mar Menor and stroll along the scenic paseo to enjoy the sun most of the year round.

Our favourite Chiringuito and also the last stop for a while enroute to Santiago de la Ribera.

It took me a 15 minute walk from Baja B Beauty this year after a recent operation slowed me down. Turn right outside Aldea del Sol and head down past the pétanque courts towards the right hand side of the football stadium. Weave your way to the right one street and you’ll soon be there!
