The vibrant walled city of Cartagena is only 20 minutes away. Steeped in history, it is a splendid place to visit. September sees the wonderful Roman festival and a whole week of breath-taking processions and re-enactments. The white sandy beaches of the Mediterranean stretch 22km along La Manga Strip, only a short car journey away from Villa Larissa!
