Beaches of Malaga.
Thanks to the wonderful climate that the Costa del Sol offers us, most of our clients love to enjoy and relax on our beautiful beaches. We thought it would be good for you to offer you a list of what we consider the best ones, together with the distance from Mijas, so you can discover the different beaches and choose your favorite one.
Calahonda beach located in Nerja at 89 km from Mijas village, is one of the most visited beaches by tourists. With a length of 120m, gray sand and crystal clear turquoise waters, it has a lot of services to give you the best comfort, such as showers, toilets, restaurants, hammocks ... It is located just below the balcony of Europe, which we recommend you to go and see its beautiful views.
Maro Beach is located in the small town of Maro just 5 km from Nerja and 93 km from Mijas village. It is known for being surrounded by wonderful nature, coarse sand and crystal clear waters. In this area you can practice sports such as kayaking, scuba diving or snorkeling. This beach is accessible for all kinds of people and offers a great variety of services. We recommend that you arrive at an early hour as parking is limited.
Playa del Castillo located in Fuengirola just below the castle Sohail 11 km from Mijas village, this beach is known for receiving the blue flag award due to its clean waters, is a quiet area away from the bustle of the city center, perfect for those who come accompanied by your dog as there is an area enabled for them. It has several parking areas.
Cabopino Beach is located in Marbella, 25 km from Mijas village. It is a quite big beach since it is 1200 meters long. The main characteristics of this beach are the fine sand and a clean sea with little depth, also known by its dunes and its autochthonous vegetation.
