I don't mind admitting it, this one has got under my skin.

Local Celebrations in Sabinillas.

This year's patron saint fiesta runs across two days, Saturday 22nd and Tuesday 25th August, with live music, tradition and celebration all along the way.

Saturday brings an evening concert to kick things off. Then on San Luis Day itself, Tuesday 25th, Sabinillas does it properly: an early-morning musical parade through the streets, Holy Mass, a procession in honour of San Luis, and dancing late into the night in Plaza Vicente Espinel.

Two days of the Costa del Sol at its most local, worth stepping away from the beach for.
