We had another gorgeous week over in Duquesa last week and Storm didn’t want to come home this time (he wasn’t the only one) ☀️
It’s been pretty full with family and friends visiting for the last 3 weeks, my sister, brother in law and niece for their honeymoon (gift from us ) and my my mum dad enjoying some well deserved rest and time out in the sun.
Phoenix will be taking 3 friends over this week for his first lads holiday abroad☀️

One of our favorite trips we did in Summer was The Dolphin trip. It’s not guaranteed to see them but we were very lucky and got to see them lots swimming up close to the boat. It was just magical. We will definitely do this again this summer. The boat goes directly from Puerto La Duquesa

Here’s one of our fave local spots for breakfast / brunch down at the port- at Cafe III Bistro. The best Granola bowls I have tasted yet! And I have had many 😂
They also do great coffee, Omelettes and Storm loves their fruit bowls and pancakes ❤️

ESTEPONA is one of our fave places to visit and it’s around just 10-15 minute drive from the apartment.

You can get a bus there or a taxi will cost around 15 euros. There is also free parking around.

Highly recommend a trip here.
Sunday is a great day for the market and seeing the port and just short walk down to relax at the beach.

The old town is the opposite end of - it’s a good 20mins
/ 30 walk along the promenade I would say

We love seeing it by day and night.
It’s relaxed and still has the traditional charm, great for all ages

We went for dinner at 6.30pm one night and soon realized that nothing really gets going until about 8pm 😂
The main street of Calle Caridad is our favorite for restaurants and atmosphere, but the Plaza de las Flores just a few minutes stroll away is is stunning with beautiful flower pots and orange trees and perfect for tapas, coffee or dinner.
