We have OCTOBER fully available atm if anybody is wanting a sunshine break drop us a message - we was there in October last year and it got up to 30 degrees! My favourite time of the year to be there. ☀️

This beach is about an hours drive away from Puerta la Duquesa in a place called
Tarifa. It’s the opposite end from Malaga in Cadiz
Definitely worth a visit if you have a car, gorgeous white sandy beach, with sand dunes. Take a cooler box with a picnic, it’s a lovely day out without the price tags of the beach clubs.
We found a gorgeous boutique hotel with such a cool laid back vibe a 5 minute walk away that we went to for poke bowls and smoothies too
It was actually one of our fave beach days we had this time.
Tarifa old town is close by too , to have a wander round the washed streets and grab tapas ☀️ We never did this as we loved spending the day here but we will do next time we visit ❤️🇪🇸

🌴 Our Apartment – Puerto de La Duquesa

A lovely base on the Costa del Sol, with everything you need for a relaxing family break — and plenty to explore nearby.

✈️ Getting here

* Málaga Airport: approx. 50 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
* Gibraltar Airport: approx. 30 minutes.
* We also have a reliable private airport transfer we regularly use, with Málaga pick-up available for around €80.

📍 Great location

The apartment is in Puerto de La Duquesa, a relaxed marina area with beautiful beaches, restaurants and plenty to do.

* 20-minute walk down to the marina and main port, with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and chiringuitos.
* Around a 10-minute walk to a smaller local square with bars and restaurants.
* Estepona: around 15 minutes by car/taxi.
* Sotogrande: around 15 minutes by car/taxi.
* Puerto Banús: around 30 minutes by car.
* Marbella: around 30 minutes by car

So you get the best of both worlds — a more relaxed base in La Duquesa, while the bigger resorts are an easy trip away.

🏊‍♀️ At the apartment

The complex has two swimming pools, perfect for lazy pool days when you don’t want to go anywhere.

🐬 Things to do nearby

There’s loads for families and couples, including:

* 🐬 Dolphin-watching boat trips
* ⛳ Mini golf
* 🤸‍♀️ Trampolines
* 🏖️ Beaches and chiringuitos
* 🚤 Boat trips from the marina
* 🍹 Restaurants and bars
* 🌅 Beautiful evening walks around the port
* 🦕 Plenty of family-friendly activities within a short drive

La Duquesa is a great little base if you want sunshine, beaches, restaurants and a relaxed marina feel — but still want Marbella, Puerto Banús, Estepona, Sotogrande and Gibraltar within easy reach.m

The longest time we’ve spent here and we’re definitely not ready for it to end ☀️
Dates now available from 22nd August to come and enjoy your own little Spanish getaway - just DM for details to book ☀️

There is something quite special about that early morning sunrise and walk to the beach ☀️before the August heat kicks in 🥵
Then it’s all about jumping in the pool 😊

THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS ☀️ are here! If you haven’t managed to get yourself a breakaway in the sun yet we still have the last week in August and first week in September available in our apartment ☀️
Manchester flights looking really reasonable for August too!
The cheapest flights I’ve found for the peak week with JET2 including 10kg luggage are £200p/p
22nd August - 28th August

We decided to keep the apartment rate at the same price all year at £100 pn as it drives me crazy seeing how much people have to pay in August for the school holidays!

Drop us a message if your still looking to grab a week away
