My client bought a home on the Costa del Sol without being able to stand in it. He was in the United States, an ocean away, making one of the biggest decisions of his life through someone he had to trust completely. That someone was me.
I walked the developments for him, floor by floor, and told him what the photos never would. When something did not fit what he was looking for, I said so, even when saying so meant walking away from a sale. He let himself be guided because he understood something early on. He did not need to be here. He needed someone here who knew the area and understood exactly what he wanted.
And here is the part that surprises people. Being here in person would not have changed much. Standing in a show flat tells you about the walls and the finishes in front of you. It does not tell you which sea view will be blocked in two years, which orientation holds the light in August, which promoter delivers what the render promises and which one only promises. That comes from years walking this coast, not from a single viewing.
So whether you are an ocean away or already living around the corner, the advantage is the same. You are not buying a brochure. You are buying local knowledge and someone who takes the time to understand what you actually want, so the home you end up with is the right one and not just the one that was well marketed.
He trusted that from six thousand kilometres away. Imagine the head start when you are already here.
If you are thinking about buying on the coast, wherever you are right now, let's talk.
