Today my friend and I decided to have a trip out to the vineyards and wineries of Bullas. Bullas is about an hour's pleasant drive inland. We chose to go the the vineyard Lavia. Beautiful setting and the lovely weather made this day special. We hadn't booked a tour, so we just enjoyed the wine shop and surrounding views instead. We then moved on to the wine museum in Bullas 3 euros, discount for large groups and oaps
We found the museum very interesting and also found they do private walking tours around the places of interest including a winery. All tours are varied lengths guided by the ability of the walkers. After such a busy morning we had a lovely three course lunch at Restaurante Borrego for 10 euros each. Excellent value and included a drink or coffee. A very reasonable day out, unless you buy some wine of course!!

We are now into June and the weather here is fabulous approx 30' in the shade most days. Lovely long days, beautiful beaches, and plenty of fun in the pool. A super time on Fernando's boat which is available for private hire, such a great experience.

Well, the driveway is coming along all ready for the concrete on Thursday. The weather is great, a beautiful February day, time for more planting and weeding. Preparations start early here for our guests this Spring and Summer. We still have some vacancies if you haven't booked your summer break yet. Just message me for all relevant info. It's another lovely sunny day here in La Majada, temps up in the 20's and it's still January. I'm out tending my garden and sorting out my new donated plants from my lovely neighbours. I just need a shady day to plant them all
But today is just a having fun deciding where to put them day!

The autumn here in Southern Spain has been amazing, still 20+ degrees and sunny at the end of November. Out walking this week on the coast, from Isla Plana to La Azohia and back. About a twenty minute drive from Finca Limonero.

A lovely Sunday morning stroll in the Puerto de Mazarron just 15 mins drive from Finca Limonero. The locals and visitors to this beautiful part of Spain are making the most of the gorgeous weather.

We do hope all our guests and friends that have visited Finca Limonero are enjoying the holiday festivities as best you can in these difficult times.
We have been out and about when possible and here are some of our local walks throughout December.

As the sun was going down this evening, it was magical. The peace and quiet, smelling the jasmine and listening to the lovely chatter of our Spanish guests, fab. This area of Murcia is so beautiful and we are so lucky to live in such a gorgeous place. Stay safe all. xx
